Breaking: Netflix’s History of Swear Words will not Cover ‘Barnacles’

History of Swear Words, premiering January 5th, on Netflix will reportedly not be reserving an episode for the word ‘Barnacles’. This of course will come as a disappointment for many of the people looking forward to the shows release and the possibility of seeing it discussed. Netflix has not released a formal statement about it. Simply tweeting that “we only had time for so many words and unfortunately that one didn’t make the cut”

We asked a variety of people how they felt about ‘Barnacles’ being left out and they were not happy. One particularly upset starfish, named Patrick, went as far as to say he wouldn’t leave his rock until Netflix filmed another episode. Now we weren’t exactly sure what he meant by that but it seems vaguely negative.

Nicolas Cage himself has apologized to his fans but seems to take a similar stance as Netflix. This past week he was supposed to be taking his boat to the Bermuda Triangle in search of the mythical Kraken so we don’t expect to hear anything else at this time.
